Officials of the Parappana Agrahara Central Prison have recovered six mobile phones and earbuds inside a barrack during a surprise inspection on Saturday.
According to the complaint lodged by the Superintendent of Police Karna B. Kshatri, the incident came to light on March 14 between 2 p.m. and 2.30 p.m., during an inspection in the Security Division-1 section of the jail.
During the inspection, the officials found two mobile phones and one pair of earbuds in Room No. 10 on the second floor of the security wing. In addition, one mobile phone, one pair of earbuds and a charger cable were discovered in the toilet of Room No. 11 in the same section.
