Modern command control room opened in Done to boost public safety

Dhone MLA Kotla Surya Prakash Reddy and Superintendent of Police Suneel Sheeran inaugurated a command control room equipped with modern technology to ensure public safety, crime control, law and order maintenance, and effective monitoring of illegal activities in Dhone town on Saturday.

A total of 118 CCTV cameras installed at key locations across the town have been integrated into the command control room and these cameras enable continuous monitoring of traffic, crowded public areas, major junctions, and other strategic locations within the town. This modern system facilitates the proactive prevention of crime, rapid identification of offenders, swift response during emergencies, and effective management of law and order.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Suneel Sheoran said that the command control room was established with the cooperation of Dhone MLA in accordance with the directives of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to curb crime.

He further said that locals traveling to distant locations could inform the police to have CCTV cameras installed at their homes via the Locked House Monitoring System (LHMS). The LHMS alerts the control room, if any unauthorised individuals enter the house premises. Residents of the Dhone subdivision are encouraged to make the most of the facility.

Meanwhile, the residents of Dhone town expressed gratitude to the local MLA for his support in establishing the modern control room and to the Deputy Superintendent of Police Srinivasulu for his dedicated efforts.

Officials said the control room would play a major role in making Dhone sub-division safer and more peaceful with the cooperation of the public.
