The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast partly cloudy skies with thunder and lightning in Delhi for Sunday (June 14, 2026), even though no significant weather warnings have been issued. As the system weakens and shifts further away, its impact on Delhi is expected to reduce from Sunday onwards.
The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) has forecast that heavy rainfall may occur over the delta districts, including Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, and Mayiladuthurai, on Sunday. The weather system would also trigger moderate rainfall over the north Tamil Nadu districts, including Chennai, Perambalur, Cuddalore, and Kallakurichi, on Sunday.

Uttar Pradesh witnessed a change in weather conditions on Saturday (June 13, 2026), with several districts reporting rainfall, while Kanpur City recorded the highest precipitation in the state at 67.6 mm, according to the IMD.
A spell of rain on Saturday brought Bengaluru’s traffic to its knees once again, with flooding, fallen trees and vehicle breakdowns triggering congestion across several parts of the city. While no major flooding incidents were reported, commuters found themselves stuck in slow-moving traffic for hours, with many struggling to find cabs and autorickshaws amid surge in the price.
