The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation has introduced a motion-sensor-enabled CCTV system with an automated cautionary announcement feature at a chronic dumping point in Moosapet. The initiative, launched during a field inspection by the Commissioner on Wednesday, April 15, is aimed at deterring offenders in real time while strengthening urban sanitation enforcement.

Installed at HP Road in the Moosapet Circle, the system uses motion-sensing technology to detect activity and immediately issue audio warnings to individuals attempting to dump waste illegally. It is also integrated with a mobile application, allowing sanitation officials to monitor the location remotely and respond swiftly when needed, said a note from the department.
