A fire at Suvidha Pearl Building in Vile Parle East, Mumbai killed a woman. Fire engines responded and victims were taken to Nanavati hospital.

An elderly woman lost her life and another was injured when a fire broke out in a 13-storey building in Mumbai on Monday morning. The blaze ignited on the 13th floor of Suvidha Pearl Building in Vile Parle (East) at 9.51 am.
Authorities dispatched at least five fire engines to the scene, where firefighting efforts were quickly underway. Two women sustained injuries and were taken to Nanavati hospital. Unfortunately, one of the victims, identified as 63-year-old Bhavna Satra, was declared dead by doctors.

The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained.
