Murder accused taken to Daltonganj jail after remand ends

Daltonganj: Police on Sunday took alleged murder accused Dilip Tiwary to the central jail after his 24-hour police remand expired.Tiwary is one of the accused in the kidnapping and murder of realtor Vineet Tiwary, whose body was found beside NH-75 at Jorkat in the last week of April.Police are still looking for another accused Pradeep Tiwary alias Mahakaal, who has reportedly gone underground.SDPO Sadar Rajesh Yadav said, “The undertrial accused was taken on foot to the jail after his police remand got over today.”
