There was complete trust between us and that helped us perform the slap scene

Pushpa Impossible from is touching hearts with its touching storyline and well-developed characters. With every problem that comes along, Pushpa (Kaurna Pandey), there is now an additional element of drama in the story due to Shanaya's (Muskaan Bamne) marriage to her son.In the coming scene, Pushpa gets emotional and slaps Shanaya during an intense argument between the two. The reaction of everyone in the family is one of shock, but the sequence of events that takes place after that is a true depiction of Pushpa’s character in its full glory. Unable to forgive herself for what she had done, she goes to a police station and registers a case against herself. Though this particular scene required a lot of emotion from both the actors, Karuna was apprehensive about slapping Muskan and kept checking if Muskan was comfortable, whereas Muskan felt completely comfortable with Karuna by her side, even though Shanaya was not expecting the slap at all.Talking about the scene, Karuna Pandey said, “This was one of those scenes that stayed with me for a long time. As Pushpa, I knew she wasn't slapping Shanaya out of anger, but because she completely lost control in an emotionally overwhelming moment. The very next second, she's consumed by guilt because that's who Pushpa is. She always believes in taking responsibility for her actions, no matter how difficult the situation is.

Even while preparing for the scene, I kept thinking that this is something Pushpa would never consciously do, which made it even more emotionally challenging to perform. I was honestly nervous before filming the slap because I didn't want to accidentally hurt Muskaan. We discussed the scene in detail, rehearsed it carefully and after every take, my first instinct was to check if she was okay. Thankfully, she was extremely supportive and that made filming such an intense sequence much easier.”Speaking about this scene, Karuna Pandey mentioned, “One of the scenes that really stuck with me forever. In this scene, I understood that Pushpa didn't slap Shanaya in rage. She was out of control in this particular emotional situation. Right after that, she was overcome with guilt because this is the nature of Pushpa. She always understands that she should be responsible for everything she does regardless of how hard the situation is.

While getting ready for this scene, I just couldn’t stop thinking that Pushpa will never do this on purpose. This was really emotionally demanding for me. Actually, I was a little worried about this scene, as I didn't want to hit Muskaan by accident. We talked about this scene a lot, practiced it many times and every time I did the take, the first thing I wanted to do was to make sure she was alright. Luckily, she was really supportive and filming this sequence became much easier.”
