Muskan Bamne on reuniting with Karuna Pandey in Pushpa Impossible; says 'Years ago, Karuna ma’am played my on-screen mom, and now we are sharing the screen again'

Pushpa Impossible continues to win hearts with its honest and relatable portrayal of everyday life and family bonds. At the centre of the story is Pushpa (Karuna Pandey), whose warmth, determination, and never-give-up spirit hold her family together through every twist and turn.

She is seen sharing screen space with Karuna Pandey once again and this has been a particularly special experience for the young actor.For Muskan, working with Karuna again feels like a full-circle moment. The two actors had earlier worked together, where Karuna played Muskan’s on-screen mother. Nearly a decade later, fate has brought them together once again— this time portraying characters who often find themselves at odds.

Muskan feels stepping back on set with Karuna is less like work and more like reconnecting with a mentor and co-actor who has always been incredibly supportive.

Speaking about working with Karuna Pandey again, Muskan Bamne shared, “It’s such a special feeling to work with Karuna ma’am again on Pushpa Impossible. Years ago, she played my on-screen mother, and now we’re sharing the screen again in a completely different dynamic.

What makes it even more interesting is that our characters are constantly at odds. Shanaya is rebellious and headstrong, while Pushpa strongly believes in discipline and values.

Their personalities naturally clash. As actors, though, Karuna ma’am is incredibly warm and supportive, which makes performing these intense scenes even more enjoyable”Earlier, Muskaan shared about the reason for stepping into the role of Shanaya, she shared, “What really drew me in was that this is not just about an entitled girl entering Pushpa’s world. The track becomes a turning point that questions privilege and accountability in a very real way. Shanaya is outwardly arrogant but internally lonely, and portraying someone who is suddenly forced to confront the weight of her actions has been both challenging and deeply fulfilling.
