The NBA star has already achieved so much at a young age. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander recently flaunted his savage dunking skills during his youth camp, and the internet cannot stop talking about it.

During the ongoing NBA offseason, Gilgeous-Alexander has been making the most of his free time. Recently, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander enthralled budding basketball players during his youth camp.

He hosted a youth camper recently and went on to steal the show with his terrific dunking skills. MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander displayed a show for the basketball campers. He threw a poster jam over a teenage hooper. The youth campers were not only entertained by their talented mentor but also knew that they had no chance to stand there.

During an interview with the reputed media outlet the New York Times, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander poured his heart out while talking about his love for basketball. He clearly revealed that it is his love for the sport that drives his inner athlete. He said,“I don’t play for any of those things. I play … because I love the sport. I’ve had fun with it my whole life. And I play it to see how much I can get out of it and who I can be at the end of the day.

And hopefully today I’m not the best version of myself.”

He further added, “So I’m not too over the moon. I’m not too excited. I’ve always been so proud to be from the city,” Gilgeous-Alexander said. “And it means the world to know that I am someone that this city is proud of.”After winning the 2025 NBA finals and securing the MVP title, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander clearly proved that nothing is impossible if one works hard towards their goal.
