A few months ago, in a heartbreaking interview with Marie Claire, Gabrielle Union opened up about seeing her surrogate give birth as she said she failed to feel any happiness.

The “Bring it On” actress said, "But for me, it felt like failure. My body failed. It just felt like such a f------ public humiliation…”Gabrielle Union added, “Surrogacy felt like a cuckold; watching somebody do something that I can't do."The popular actress continued, "To be there for somebody else succeeding where I failed — it's a mind f--- for people who have had my journey and who feel similarly…”Gabrielle Union added, “When it's never been your reality, I get the urge to judge and cast aspersions because we all want whatever route we took to be the 'right' way."Before deciding to choose surrogacy in 2017, Gabrielle Union forced her body to go through a number of miscarriages.In many of her interviews, the popular actress has spoken about experiencing eight to nine miscarriages as she tried her best to welcome a child into the world.Unfortunately, Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union failed multiple times and this affected the actress’ mental and physical well being.However, it seems Gabrielle Union kept wanting to try alternative methods to try and bring a child into the world.
