Naidu orders fuel supply ramp up amid crunch in Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday directed officials and oil company representatives to immediately step up petrol and diesel supplies across the State, with a target to restore normalcy by Monday.

Reviewing the situation through a teleconference from his camp office, the Chief Minister was informed that a sudden surge in demand, partly due to bulk purchases by commercial consumers at retail outlets, had strained supplies.
