Naidu pushes PNG adoption, sets 10 lakh connections target in six months

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Friday reviewed the domestic gas supply situation and directed officials and oil companies to address challenges arising from global disruptions, while promoting Piped Natural Gas (PNG) as a reliable alternative for households.

At a review meeting held at the Secretariat, the Chief Minister emphasised the need to create awareness among beneficiaries of the Deepam scheme about the advantages of switching to PNG. He clarified that beneficiaries opting for PNG would continue to receive the existing subsidy, and directed officials to issue necessary orders immediately so that no one is deprived of scheme benefits.
