Nandyal MP and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national general secretary Byreddy Shabari will distribute assistive devices to eligible differently-abled persons and senior citizens across the seven Assembly constituencies in the Nandyal parliamentary segment on Monday (June 15, 2026).
Arrangements have been made to distribute the devices, provided to the differently-abled by ALIMCO under the Government of India’s ADIP scheme, and to senior citizens through the APDASCAC scheme, at the Tekme Agriculture Market yard in Nandyal on Monday. Ms. Shabari will hand over the equipment to the beneficiaries herself.

Ms. Shabari organised assessment camps across the seven Assembly constituencies of Nandyal district between June 28 and July 18, 2025, in accordance with the schedule set by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, under the Government of India’s ADIP scheme and in collaboration with the Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO), to identify the beneficiaries.
Eligible persons with disabilities and senior citizens were identified at these special camps, and the assistive devices, valued at about ₹4 crore and meant for over 3,000 beneficiaries, have arrived at the Nandyal warehouse.

Officials of the Central and State governments have made arrangements to distribute the devices.
