Naslen's next with 'Kumbalangi Nights' director Madhu C. Narayanan: Shoot to begin in July 2026 - Reports

After the success of 'Mollywood Times' and 'Lokah', actor Naslen is reportedly gearing up for another exciting project in Malayalam cinema.Reports say that the young actor is expected to collaborate with acclaimed filmmaker Madhu C.

Some other reports say that Naslen will start the project once he wraps up Suriya 47.Industry tracker AB George has Tweeted that the project is currently progressing through its pre-production stage. While the makers have not officially announced the film, the reported collaboration has already generated curiosity among cinema lovers.

Madhu C. Narayanan earned widespread appreciation for his directorial debut Kumbalangi Nights and the upcoming films marks his comeback after a long gap.

Musical drama in works

Reports indicate that the untitled venture is being planned as a musical entertainer. If everything proceeds as expected, composer Rex Vijayan will reportedly handle both the soundtrack and the background score.If finalized, the film will become Naslen's first collaboration with the National Award-winning director and the expectations were already high when a major buzz regarding the same, came out last year.

Naslen's 'Mollywood Times'

Naslen was last seen headlining 'Mollywood Times', directed by Abhinav Sunder Nayak. The coming-of-age drama follows Vineeth Madhavan who dreams of bringing Malayalam horror cinema back into the spotlight.As Vineeth pursues his ambitions, he encounters several challengers that a newcomer faces in the film industry.'Mollywood Times' is preparing for its OTT debut. The makers have confirmed that the film will begin streaming on JioHotstar from July 3, 2026.While announcing the release date on social media, the team described the film as "A love-hate letter to Malayalam cinema."

Busy schedule for Naslen

Naslen also has another major release lined up with filmmaker Amal Neerad. The actor will next appear in 'Bachelor Party D'eux', whose principal photography has already been completed.According to The New Indian Express, in the film, Naslen plays a gang member named Sony. The cast also includes Soubin Shahir, Sharafudheen, Sreenath Bhasi, and Chandu Salimkumar in important roles.
