According to league sources who spoke with Jake Fischer of The Stein Line, rookie point guard Keshon Gilbert will join the Atlanta Hawks on a two-way contract. Gilbert completed his undergraduate career at Iowa State and was undrafted in 2025.
Bill Neff is Gilbert's agent. Gilbert was an undrafted Iowa State player in 2025. Gilbert signed a 10-day deal with the Washington Wizards and played in three games this season. He was dismissed at the beginning of training camp after first signing a non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 contract with the Wizards in September. This allowed him to sign with the Capital City Go-Go, a G League club in Washington.

The Atlanta Hawks and Keshon Gilbert have reached an agreement on a two-way contract.

Gilbert, who was not selected in the 2025 draft out of Iowa State, signed a non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 deal with the Wizards in September and was waived at the beginning of training camp, setting him up to play for the Capital City Go-Go, Washington's G League club.He has a field goal percentage of.456, a three-point percentage of.210, and a free-throw percentage of.789. Gilbert signed a 10-day contract with Washington last month and played in three games, earning him a brief NBA shot. Gilbert will be able to play in up to 12 regular season games for Atlanta for the remainder of the 2025–2026 season if the deal is finalized on Tuesday.
The Hawks would now have 18 players on their roster thanks to the addition.

The 22-year-old will play two-way for the Hawks alongside RayJ Dennis and Christian Koloko.
