ESPN's Shams Charania reports that guard Quenton Jackson will sign a new three-year contract with the Pacers. For the last three seasons, Jackson has been on a two-way contract. For the past three years, Jackson has been on a two-way deal.
However, the Pacers have given the four-year pro a regular contract in recognition of his excellent play this season.According to Tony East of Forbes.com, there is a partial guarantee for the upcoming season and no assurance for the third. At the end of the season, Jackson's two-way contract expires. In order to keep him past this season, Indiana had to shift him to the regular roster because he would not be eligible for another two-way contract in 2026–2027 because this is his fourth NBA season.

Shams Charania of ESPN claims that Quenton Jackson, a two-way guard, will receive a promotion from the Pacers and be given a three-year standard contract. Jackson's Klutch Sports agents told Charania about the agreement.In an interview with Tony Easy of Forbes and Circle City Spin, Jackson, a four-year veteran, acknowledged that he had been considering a promotion from Indiana. He said: “I’ve thought about it. It’s hard not to think about it.. But at the same time, I wouldn’t say I wrap my head around it too much.
In this game, it’s best to think about the things that you can control.”
Jackson's new contract is, according to a league source, non-guaranteed for the 2027–2028 season and partially guaranteed for the 2026–2027 one. Jackson, a 27-year-old point guard from Texas A&M, went undrafted in 2022. This season, he has made 30 games with the Pacers, averaging 17.3 minutes per game with 9.2 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists.
He has a very good shooting line of.489/.409/.810.With career highs in games played (30) and games started (10), Jackson has seen his role grow this season. This season, he is also on track to play his best minutes per game (17.3), assists per game (2.1), rebounds per game (2.2), and points per game (9.2) of his career.He has also scored in double figures in six of his previous seven games (including one start), averaging 16.0 points, 3.3 assists, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.9 threes in 24.1 minutes per game over that time.

Jackson has had G League contracts, Exhibit 10 contracts, and two-way contracts for his whole professional career. Players must participate in a minimum of 50 NBA games while playing for both an NBA team and its G League affiliate. This season, Jackson is shooting 40.5% from three and 48.9% from the field. In the meanwhile, the Pacers will play the Memphis Grizzlies when they return to action on Sunday in an attempt to end a five-game losing run. Jackson averaged 9.2 points, 48.9% field goal shooting, and 40.5% three-point shooting in 30 games (10 starts) for the Pacers following three years on a two-way contract. In the meantime, Gainbridge Fieldhouse will host the tipoff at 5:00 p.m.
