Luka Doncic delivered a 46-point performance, leading the Los Angeles Lakers to a 129-118 victory over the Chicago Bulls, ending their four-game winning streak on Monday. Doncic hit eight three-pointers on 15-of-25 shooting, adding seven rebounds and 11 assists at the United Center.

LeBron James contributed 24 points, five rebounds, and three assists, while Rui Hachimura impressed off the bench with 23 points on 9-of-11 shooting.

This win follows the Lakers’ 116-110 triumph over the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday. Doncic praised the team’s effort, acknowledging a need to improve their third-quarter performance. The Lakers improved to 28-17 in the Western Conference.

Coby White led Chicago with 23 points, and Ayo Dosunmu scored 20 off the bench. The Lakers will next face the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday.

The Cavaliers prepared for this matchup with a 114-98 win over the Orlando Magic, highlighted by Donovan Mitchell’s 45 points. Evan Mobley added 20 points, while Paolo Banchero led Orlando with 37 points.

In the Eastern Conference, the Boston Celtics defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 102-94, led by Payton Pritchard’s 23 points and Jaylen Brown’s 20. The Celtics, now 29-17, remain in pursuit of conference leaders Detroit (33-11).

Brandon Miller scored 30 points and grabbed eight rebounds as Charlotte routed Philadelphia 130-93. Severe weather led to early starts for the Hornets’ home victory and Atlanta’s 132-116 win over Indiana.

Miller made 9-of-12 shots, including 6-of-9 from three-point range, and was perfect from the free-throw line. Kelly Oubre Jr. led the 76ers with 17 points, while Tyrese Maxey, third in NBA scoring, managed only six points.

In Atlanta, C.J. McCollum came off the bench with 23 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and three steals. Dyson Daniels contributed 22 points and nine assists, and Nickeil Alexander-Walker had 21 points.

Pascal Siakam of Cameroon led the Pacers with 26 points and nine rebounds. The Hawks improved to 23-25 with their ninth home victory in 22 games.
