NCC Vijayawada, IRCS organise blood donation camp

The 8th (Andhra) Air Squadron NCC, Vijayawada, on Saturday organised a blood donation camp at SRR and CVR Government Degree college to mark the World Blood Donor Day.

The blood donation camp was organised by wing Commander Ajit Singh Rathee, Commanding Officer of the 8 (Andhra) Air Squadron NCC, and staff members Suraj K.R., Prabhat, J.S. Reddy, Harika and Kasim, in association with the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Vijayawada.

In all, 120 cadets of the 8th (Andhra) Air Squadron NCC, 8th (Andhra) Naval NCC, 3 (Andhra) Remount and Veterinary NCC, 1st (Andhra) EME NCC, 17th (Andhra) Battalion NCC and 4th (Andhra) Girls Battalion NCC donated blood, the Commanding Officer said.
