NCSC Chairman Kishor Makwana unveils Dr. B.R. Ambedkar statue in Dowleswaram

National Commission for Scheduled Castes Chairman Kishor Makwana unveiled the bronze statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on the premises of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) at Dowleswaram in East Godavari district on Saturday (March 7, 2026).

Later, Mr. Kishor Makwana launched two employment and skill training courses in fashion designing for women in Rajamahendravaram City. The courses are being funded by the ONGC under its SC/ST component plan fund.  Addressing the gathering, Mr. Kishor Makwana said that women should learn skills for their economic empowerment. Joint Collector Y. Megha Swaroop and ONGC authorities were present.
