Maharashtra Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan, who was named the National Democratic Alliance’s Vice-Presidential candidate on Sunday (August 17, 2025), paid tributes at Prerna Sthal, which houses statues of iconic personalities in Parliament complex, ahead of filing his nomination on Wednesday (August 20, 2025).

Mr. Radhakrishnan, whose election is a certainty, was accompanied by Union Ministers and other leaders from the BJP-led alliance.

He first bowed before the giant statue of Mahatma Gandhi and then proceeded to paying tributes to other noted personalities.
