Nellore Collector launches ‘Palle Veekshanam’ to address village issues

Collector Himanshu Shukla launched the “Palle Veekshanam” (village tour) programme to observe the implementation of government welfare and development schemes at the field level. As a part of this initiative, he visited Nabbi Nagaram and Boyila Chiruvella villages of Atmakur mandal in SPSR Nellore district on Wednesday.

Speaking about Palle Veekshanam, he said, “This programme was initiated mainly to interact with the people directly, find out about their problems, and to resolve them immediately. One village is visited every week at the field level to determine whether the government schemes are being implemented transparently and to review the performance of the officials.”
