“Don’t want to miss a moment”

Viineet Kumar Singh is pressing pause on work to fully embrace fatherhood. The Mukkabaaz actor, who recently welcomed a baby boy with wife Ruchiraa Ghormare, has decided to take a paternity break to be present for every moment of this new chapter.

While the actor had announced the birth of his son on July 24 with a heartfelt Instagram post, it’s his commitment to this transition into parenthood that truly stands out. Welcoming his first child, he wrote, “It’s a boy! Our little star is here. God’s kindness overflows! Move over, world, the littlest Singh has arrived and he’s already stealing hearts and milk bottles. Thank you, God, for this precious little bundle of joy!”.

In an interview with News18 Showsha, Viineet opened up about taking time off work to be fully present during this life-changing phase. “Right now, my focus is entirely on my family. I didn’t want to miss a single moment. Even during the pregnancy, I wrapped up work early and accompanied Ruchiraa to every check-up. I wanted to be as hands-on as possible,” he shared. The Rangeen actor, whose series released just a day after his son’s birth, says the timing made the moment even more memorable.

“It’s hard to describe the feeling. The moment I saw him, something shifted inside me. Suddenly, nothing else mattered. Every little sound, every smile—it’s all magical.”

Viineet also reflected on the emotional depth of parenthood. “People often say your world changes when you become a parent. Now I truly understand what they mean. It’s overwhelming in the most beautiful way.”He remains equally committed to supporting his wife.

“I’m trying to be a pillar for Ruchiraa. I’ve seen the toll pregnancy and childbirth take on a woman, and I want to be there for her, every step of the way.”Earlier, Viineet had spoken about Ruchiraa’s steadfast support during his struggling years. “She was like a pillar, always standing by me. Even now, she questions me when needed. I’m accountable to her, and that connection means everything to me.”
