During Wednesday’s crucial practice, Seattle Seahawks safety Nick Emmanwori tweaked his ankle but walked off on his own. He missed Thursday’s practice but participated fully on Friday.
“No designation for Nick,” head coach Mike Macdonald told ESPN’s Kalyn Kahler. “Turns out he’s alive.” He is cleared after a mid-week ankle injury scare for Super Bowl LX against the Drake Maye-led New England Patriots at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Feb. 8, 2026, at 6:30 PM ET. And his mother? Justina had the cutest response to his Big Game. She was recently interviewed by ABC 25 Columbia, where she said, “Maybe this [Super Bowl] is something big that I don’t know.”
Nick Emmanwori’s mother Justina radiates heartfelt innocence found in mothers everywhere
The interviewer asked her, “What are you expecting to go over there to San Francisco to watch this game, to watch your son?” Justina replies, “To be honest with you, I don’t know. Everybody keeps asking me, ‘Do you know what you’re going for?’ I said, ‘Super Bowl.’ They said, ‘Do you know how many people die to go to the Super Bowl?’ I’m like, ‘How?’ [chuckles] I don’t know. I have the opportunity to go there, so I’m like, ‘Okay, maybe this [Super Bowl] is something big that I don’t know. It’s big.’ I don’t know what I’m expecting, all I’m going to do is shout ‘Yay! Super Bowl. Touchdown. We win!’ That’s it. [chuckles] That’s all I’m going to do!”Her reply showed a universal mother’s trait: pure, unfiltered innocence.
Mothers simply know how to love their children, and their love knows no bounds. That’s what Nick’s mother, Justina, showed in her latest interview. All she knows about the Super Bowl is cheering for her son. All she cares about in the Big Game is that her son scores a touchdown and she gets to cheer, ‘Yay!’ when his team wins. This is just how mothers are. They love their children without limit and are fully present when supporting them in their endeavors.
How did cybercitizens react to this purest form of innocence? Let’s read on.
