Nicola Coughlan joins BBC’s powerful female-led series 'I Am...'

Nicola Coughlan continues her run of women-focused projects by joining the BBC's anthology series 'I Am...' Following her breakthrough performance as Clare in the popular comedy Derry Girls, Coughlan became even more prominent worldwide as Penelope Featherington in the historical drama Bridgerton.

She also starred in Barbie, Greta Gerwig's 2023 hit film. Her role in I Am... is a logical next step for her, who is well-known for her adaptability and love of narrating stories with strong female characters.The notable format of the 'I Am...' series makes it stand out in the television industry.
