Niket Dalal reportedly fell from the second floor of a hotel where he was staying after a fire broke out at his house.

Niket Dalal, the first ever visually challenged Indian to complete Ironman, has reportedly died after falling from the second room of a hotel in Samarth Nagar (Aurangabad). As per several media reports, after fire broke out at Niket’s house, his friends took him to a hotel on June 30 around 2:30 am. In a tragic turn of events, his body was found lying in the parking lot around 8 am following which the hotel owner informed his family before rushing him to a hospital where he died before treatment.
Niket overcame life-altering challenges to complete the Dubai Ironman Dubai 70.3.
At the age of 7, he lost the sight in one eye after a mishap. In 2015, he suffered leukemia which took away the sight from his other eye as well.
Before losing his eyesight, Niket was working as a speech therapist in Aurangabad and also won swimming medals at national level.
The police have started investigation into the cause of his death.
