Nissan India targets two lakh annual car sales, balancing domestic and export volumes. The company plans to introduce new products and increase localization efforts. Nissan India is expanding its portfolio with new models like the Tekton SUV
Mumbai: Nissan Motor India is aiming to sell 2 lakh cars in a year, half of it in domestic market, as it looks to balance its sales volumes in the country, which currently are skewed towards exports.
"We've grown from one car, and by the end of this financial year, we'll be at four cars. This is automatically going to get balanced," company's MD Saurabh Vatsa said at the premiere of mid-size SUV, Tekton.
