Ja Morant insists there should be no confusion about where his future lies: with the Memphis Grizzlies.
Amid growing speculation that the Grizzlies are open to trade offers for their former franchise cornerstone, Morant delivered both a statement performance and a pointed response following Memphis’ 126-109 win over the Orlando Magic on Sunday.
“I’ve got a logo on my back," Morant said, pointing to his Grizzlies tattoo. “That should tell you exactly where I want to be."

The two-time All-Star returned from a six-game absence due to a right calf injury and immediately made his presence felt, finishing with 24 points and 13 assists as Memphis snapped a slide with just their third win in 10 games.
Reports earlier this week suggested tensions between Morant and the organization have lingered since the start of the season, with ESPN’s Shams Charania noting the Grizzlies have begun listening to trade inquiries.
But Morant pushed back firmly on the narrative.
“If anybody in here knows me, I’m a very loyal guy," the 26-year-old said.
His return came during Memphis’ European trip, after he missed Thursday’s loss to Orlando in Berlin. Playing in London, Morant said the atmosphere and support helped lift him.
“Just being able to play basketball, it’s very therapeutic for me," he said. “I know what I’m capable of, and I was able to show that tonight. Walking off and representing Memphis — that’s what it’s all about."
The Grizzlies raced to a 33-point first-half lead and, unlike in Berlin where they squandered a 20-point advantage, closed the game out comfortably.
“That’s credit to coach putting us in the right spots," Morant said. “After that, it’s just me being Ja, making the right play."
Memphis currently sit 10th in the Western Conference at 18-23, while Morant has played just 18 games this season, averaging 19 points and 7.6 assists.
Morant is in the third year of a five-year, $197.2 million contract, earning roughly $39.4 million this season.
