Tottenham Hotspur are investigating Yves Bissouma after footage showed him inhaling nitrous oxide again.

Spurs' Yves Bissouma finds himself in hot water yet again (X)
Tottenham Hotspur must feel like they’re stuck in a remake of Goodfellas — wondering, “funny how?" — as Yves Bissouma finds himself in trouble again for the very thing that got him banned last year.
The Mali midfielder is facing another internal axe after footage surfaced of him inhaling nitrous oxide at a London party. Spurs confirmed on Sunday night that they’ve launched a formal investigation.
To make things messier, the 29-year-old has now scrubbed all mentions of Tottenham from his Instagram profile, setting off alarm bells among fans already rattled by his stop-start spell at the club.
The clip, reportedly filmed in the early hours of November 3, was sent by a woman invited to the party.
“I couldn’t believe what I was seeing," she told The Sun on Sunday. “Bissouma was openly inhaling from the balloon even though he had been in trouble before for doing this."
This is not unfamiliar territory for Bissouma. He was suspended at the start of the 2024/25 season after being caught using nitrous oxide, earning a one-match ban for what the club described as a “severe lack of judgment."
Under UK law, nitrous oxide became a Class C drug in 2023, meaning recreational possession is illegal.
New Spurs boss Thomas Frank didn’t have much to add when quizzed ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League tie against Slavia Prague.
“It’s an internal matter that we are dealing with," he said. “When we have dealt with that, then I will comment on it."
Bissouma has yet to play under Frank, having already been dropped in August for repeated lateness before undergoing ankle surgery in October.
This latest incident only pushes him further from selection — and deeper into Tottenham’s disciplinary doghouse.
