Noida Traffic Police Issue Advisory Near Dalit Prerna Sthal Today | Check Diversions, Routes

According to officials, the traffic diversions have been planned to manage congestion and ensure smooth movement of vehicles during the event.

The Noida Traffic Police issued a traffic advisory announcing diversions near Dalit Prerna Sthal on March 15. The advisory highlighted diversions on certain city stretches for a programme at Dalit Prerna Sthal to mark the birth anniversary of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) founder Kanshi Ram.

In a statement on Saturday, the traffic police said, “Traffic will be diverted on certain stretches depending on the situation and traffic pressure near Dalit Prerna Sthal."

According to officials, the traffic diversions have been planned to manage congestion and ensure smooth movement of vehicles during the event.

Diversions In Place 

As per the advisory, vehicles travelling from Greater Noida towards Noida on the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway will be diverted if congestion builds up near the memorial.

In such a situation, traffic will be redirected from the Mahamaaya Flyover towards Sector 37 and then routed through Atta Peer Chowk, Rajni Gandha Chowk and the Sector 15 roundabout to reach their destinations.

Under another diversion plan, vehicles heading from Greater Noida to Noida will be diverted from the Film City flyover towards Sector 18 if traffic pressure increases near Gate No. 4 or 5 of Dalit Prerna Sthal. From there, commuters can proceed via Rajni Gandha Chowk, Sector 15 roundabout, or use the Sector 18 underpass and continue through the elevated road to reach their destination, the advisory said.

The advisory also stated that vehicles travelling from Noida towards Greater Noida on the expressway may be diverted if congestion occurs near the DND–Film City flyover area. In such cases, traffic will be redirected from the Sector 14A flyover towards the Sector 15 roundabout. Motorists can then travel through Rajni Gandha Chowk, Atta Peer Chowk and Sector 37 before continuing to their destinations.

The traffic police also announced detailed parking arrangements for those attending the programme. Officials said buses arriving for the event will be parked at the multi-level parking facility inside Film City. Light vehicles coming from Pari Chowk, Sector 37 and Greater Noida West will be parked inside Gate No. 1 of Dalit Prerna Sthal.

According to the advisory, vehicles arriving from Delhi will be parked at the multi-level parking inside Film City, while those coming from the Kalindi Kunj side will be parked in the underground parking facility at Dalit Prerna Sthal near Sector 95 Ganda Nala.

The traffic police further clarified that emergency vehicles, including ambulances and fire services, will be given smooth passage during the diversions.

“Drivers are advised to use alternative routes to avoid inconvenience during the event," the advisory stated. Officials urged commuters to plan their travel in advance and follow the traffic advisory to avoid delays.
