Non-Hindus to be barred from entering Badrinath-Kedarnath shrines in Uttarakhand

Non-Hindus will no longer be allowed to enter Gangotri Dham in Uttarakhand, following a unanimous decision by the Shri Gangotri Temple Committee on Sunday. The restriction will extend from centuries-old Badrinath and Kedarnath temples to Mukhba, the winter abode of Maa Ganga, the committee said.
