New Delhi: Nothing has officially announced that it will be introducing its latest over-ear headphones, Headphone (a), on March 5, where they will also unveil their most-awaited Nothing Phone 4a series. This device will have Nothing’s Signature transparent aesthetics and dot-matrix typography, complemented by a textured metallic-style rim. CEO Carl Pie has stated that the company intends to double down on over-ear headphones after unveiling its maiden over-ear headphones, the Headphone 1, in 2025. It was expected that Nothing might introduce the second-generation model. Nothing has also announced an A-series model rather than, which is likely to be priced lower than the flagship Headphone 1.
The previous Headphone 1 was introduced last year, with KEF-tuned audio. Nothing is likely to continue the partnership with the British audio brand for the Headphone (a).
Nothing has also mentioned that the latest headphones will unveil bold colourways and will deliver the longest battery life of any Nothing audio product to date. Nothing Headphone 1 is promised to deliver up to 35 hours of battery life with ANC turned on and up to 80 hours with AMNC disabled. In addition, it has a quick five-minute charge that offers up to 2.4 hours of playback with ANC enabled.
Headphone (a) is expected to shift to the polycarbonate shell while retaining the simplified version of Nothing’s signature transparent design. It has also teased the yellow colour, the headphones are also expected to arrive in pink, black, and white.
