Novak Djokovic advances to Australian Open semifinals after Lorenzo Musetti withdraws because of injury while leading in their quarterfinal match.

24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic had luck showered on him when Lorenzo Musetti pulled out at the fag end of their quarterfinal encounter at the Australian Open, handing Djokovic an entry into the semifinals, even though the Serb was trailing by two sets to love.

Musetti was in control, leading 6-4, 6-3, 1-3, when he withdrew because of an upper right leg problem that hindered his movement despite treatment.
