The Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of NTPC, Gurdeep Singh, along with his team, paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy at his residence in Jubilee Hills on Saturday.
During the meeting, the NTPC delegation expressed its keen interest in investing in the renewable energy sector in Telangana. The CMD informed the Chief Minister that NTPC is ready to invest about ₹80,000 crore in solar and wind power projects across the State. The team also highlighted the significant potential for floating solar power generation in Telangana, estimating a capacity of 6,700 megawatts.
The Chief Minister assured the NTPC leadership of the State government’s full cooperation in facilitating their investments and implementing renewable energy projects. He said Telangana is committed to creating a favourable environment for clean energy development.
