Nuuk the D2C home appliances brand has now announced a multi-year strategic partnership with Zetwerk to build scalable, high-quality manufacturing capabilities in India. The collaboration is part of Nuuk’s long-term plan to deepen localisation, strengthen industrial capacity, and align with global standards as it scales its product portfolio.As part of the initiative, Sanjiv Rangrass, Non-Executive Independent Director at Zetwerk, has been appointed as Nuuk’s Make-in-India Advisor, bringing decades of operating experience to guide the brand’s manufacturing roadmap.The partnership will see Zetwerk serve as Nuuk’s manufacturing partner for select appliance categories such as fans and heaters, with a shared focus on progressive localisation and scalable production.
The roadmap includes collaborative product development, pilot manufacturing programs, and the establishment of robust testing and reliability facilities to ensure quality-driven production.Nuuk co-founders Gazal Kalra and Shalabh Gupta said the partnership reflects the brand’s ambition to combine design and technology with manufacturing excellence. “For us, Make in India is not simply a tagline but a commitment to building and manufacturing in India at global standards.
With Sanjiv’s appointment, we strengthen our ability to build responsibly with quality at the core,” they noted.Nuuk plans to expand its Make-in-India footprint across key appliance categories, anchoring its next phase of growth in manufacturing excellence. By moving from product innovation to industrial capability, the brand aims to play a leadership role in shaping how new-age consumer brands build and scale in India.
