Nvidia GeForce Now is finally launching in India on April 16

Nvidia's GeForce Now cloud gaming service launches in India on April 16th, starting with early access invites rolling out now. The service boasts powerful RTX 5080 SuperPODs and Mumbai servers, supporting over 4,500 games across major storefronts. Device compatibility is extensive, including PCs, mobile, smart TVs, and handhelds. Pricing details are expected soon.

After a 15-month wait, Nvidia’s cloud gaming service GeForce Now is going live in India this Thursday, April 16—starting with early access. Invites are rolling out in waves to users who registered on Nvidia’s India microsite, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Each invite comes with a one-week window to join, so sitting on it isn’t an option.Games available at launch include Fortnite, Counter-Strike 2, Resident Evil Requiem, and International Edition Cricket 26. Nvidia is also actively collecting feedback after every session, which signals this beta is meant to be hands-on and iterative rather than a soft launch in name only.

RTX 5080 SuperPODs and Mumbai servers are the backbone of GeForce Now in India

Nvidia is running its own infrastructure in India rather than leaning on local partners, with servers based in Mumbai.

The Ultimate tier taps into RTX 5080 SuperPODs—Blackwell-generation hardware—supporting full ray tracing, DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation, and streaming up to 360Hz at 1080p. Over 4,500 games are supported across linked storefronts like Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.Device support is broad: Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, select Samsung, LG, and Sony smart TVs, Fire TV, Steam Deck, ASUS ROG Ally, and Lenovo Legion Go all make the list.

Chrome, Edge, and Safari are supported too, meaning you can stream without installing anything.Pricing for India hasn’t been announced yet. The global tier structure—Free, Performance, Ultimate, and Day Pass—is expected to carry over, with local rates to be revealed when the service officially opens up on April 16.
