How to play NYT Connections
In Connections, players are given a grid of 16 words and must organise them into four groups of four that share a common link. You can make up to four incorrect guesses before the game ends. The categories are colour-coded by difficulty, starting with Yellow (easiest), followed by Green, Blue, and Purple, which is often the trickiest because it usually involves wordplay or familiar phrases.
