Officials inspect infra projects

Madurai: District collector Nishanth Krishna and corporation commissioner Gaurav Kumar inspected work on ₹3.2 crore Mudhalvar Padaippagam building near Tamukkam Ground on Saturday. During the inspection, officials were instructed to complete the project on time.Subsequently, they inspected the newly built public toilet at Periyar bus stand at ₹30 lakh. Officials instructed the contractor to keep the facility clean. They then inspected Avaniyapuram primary health centre, reviewed operations and maintenance activities at the sewage treatment plant and the micro-composting centre at Vellakkal.
