 Pawan Kalyan and Sujeeth reunite to expand the ‘They Call Him OG’ universe

Following the massive success of Pawan Kalyan’s gangster action thriller ‘They Call Him OG’ fans have been eagerly waiting for more projects from its universe. Today, the makers officially announced the second part of the popular film franchise.

‘OG 2’ gets official announcement

The makers shared a special video on the Pawan Kalyan Creative Works social media handle on Thursday. It shows director Sujeeth discussing the next chapter of the OG Universe with actor and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.Along with the video, the makers wrote, “Before the storm arrives... there's a moment of silence. The untold story of Gambheera is ready to unfold. Director @SujeethSign and @PawanKalyan Garu reunite under Pawan Kalyan Creative Works to expand the #OGUniverse saga.

OG universe to become bigger

The director can be seen explaining several ideas planned for the future of the franchise. Pawan Kalyan listened carefully, asked questions, and shared his thoughts on different scenes.At the end of the discussion, Pawan Kalyan said, “Whatever (you require) from my side will be ready.” The actor also called one of the planned scenes “going to be an iconic visual.”Sujeeth has planned a much bigger cinematic universe with many characters and connected stories as we can see both of them holding a comic book of the ‘OG’ film.

Pawan Kalyan’s character can also be seen in the book.One scene shows snow slowly turning into blood. He also explained the mystery behind an "outsider" and the importance of the OG pet. Many character stories have been planned to grow as the franchise moves forward.

About ‘They Call Him OG’

The film marked Pawan Kalyan’s big comeback to the big screen after a two-year gap. The action drama revolved around former gangster Ojas Gambheera, who returns to Mumbai’s underworld after a decade to seek revenge against rival gangs. The movie stars Emraan Hashmi, marking his Tollywood debut, playing the main antagonist. It also features Priyanka Mohan, Sriya Reddy, Arjun Das, Prakash Raj and others.The movie collected Rs 295.22 crore worldwide as per Sacnilk.
