New Delhi: OnePlus has officially released an statement in which they have officially confirmed their upcoming N series device to debut in the Indian market with the major expansion of the OnePlus product portfolio. This latest series is expected to aim at budget-conscious consumers.
This announcement signals strategic shifts for OnePlus, which has traditionally focused on the premium and mid-range smartphone via its flagship and Nord device series. With the debut of the N series, OnePlus focuses on attracting a wider audience by providing affordable phones while maintaining the user experience associated with the OnePlus brand.
However, the upcoming N series phone might be priced under Rs 20,000 by making it more affordable than the current entry-level OnePlus offering to the users. Currently, the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite offers OnePlus’s most affordable device in India, with the pricing starting above the Rs 20,000 mark. OnePlus N series is expected to bridge this gap and help OnePlus compete directly with popular brands such as Xiaomi, Realme, POCO, Vivo, and iQOO in the budget category.
OnePlus has already teased the upcoming lineup via an Amazon microsite, by confirming that the N series will soon going to arrive in Indian market. However, OnePlus has not revealed detailed specifications; several reports suggest multiple models might be unveiled under the latest branding.
This unveil is expected to take place in the coming weeks. By bringing OxygenOS, fast charging technologies, and the OnePlus ecosystem experience to the lower price segment, OnePlus hopes to appeal to younger consumers and extend its market share.
