Online gaming bill passed in Rajya Sabha amid massive ruckus by Opposition

The Online Gaming Bill has been passed in the Rajya Sabha by a voice vote amidst ruckus from opposition parties. The bill underwent a clause-by-clause consideration, during which multiple amendments proposed by Dr V Sivadasan and Dr John Brittas were not moved. Dr. Sivadasan was heard saying, "Sir, you protect the nation, so you should discuss openly the amendment." The repeated ruling of "the ayes have it" signified the passage of each clause despite the protests.
