Uddhav Thackeray, leader of Shiv Sena (UBT), decisively rebutted Union Home Minister Amit Shah's declaration of 'only one Shiv Sena'

Mumbai: Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday asserted that the only Shiv Sena is the one led by him, responding sharply to Union home minister Amit Shah's "only one Shiv Sena" remark.Addressing a rally in Bhandup, in the constituency of rebel MP Sanjay Dina Patil Uddhav said, "The Shiv Sena headed by me is the only Shiv Sena.”“Some outsider came to Kolhapur, he made a new discovery that there is only one Shiv Sena. Yes there is only one Shiv Sena, it is mine, ours and Balasaheb’s Shiv Sena. There was only one Shiv Sena chief and there will be no other Shiv Sena chief. BJP might do with any president but there is only one Shiv Sena chief..

people will not accept anyone else as Shiv Sena chief (except Balasaheb),” Uddhav said.“Shiv Sena was formed for the rights of Marathi Manoos to stop attacks from outsiders. So this outsider can’t decide how the Shiv Sena chief, you are an outsider, you must stay within your limits. You have the chair today, so people are scared of you. But once I come on the battlefield I don’t need anyone’s security.. I have Shiv Sainiks,” Uddhav said.

Uddhav’s remarks came a day after Shah, speaking at a rally in Kolhapur, declared there was no Shiv Sena faction other than the one led by DCM Eknath Shinde.Uddhav visited shakhas in North East Mumbai in Bhandup and Kanjurmarg as he began a tour of the constituencies of all 6 rebel MPs. After Bhandup Uddhav will tour Yavatmal, Hingoli, Parbhani and Dharashiv. He will then visit Shirdi.Addressing a thanksgiving rally in Kolhapur, Shah had said, "Earlier, we had to call the Shiv Sena Shinde faction after (Eknath) Shinde. Now, there is no faction. There is only one Shiv Sena," Shah said.
