'Only you can have stuff like that': Supriya Pathak champions 'diet chivda' as she roasts Mira Rajput for her 'health bar'
The video became even more entertaining because of Mira's conversation with her mother-in-law, veteran actor Supriya Pathak. As Mira proudly showcased the pantry, she invited Supriya to share her thoughts on the carefully organised collection.
Looking at the shelves, Mira asked, "Mom, what do you want to say about my health bar?" Supriya responded with a humorous remark, "Very nice, except that only you can have stuff like that.
I do not want any."
Supriya Pathak's 'Diet Chivda' comment
The conversation continued with another amusing moment. Mira pointed to an empty storage box and asked Supriya what she would like to keep in it. Without taking much time to think, Supriya had a simple answer. "For me, I would say chivda...
but diet." Mira playfully questioned the choice by replying, "That is not healthy," leading to another witty response from her mother-in-law. "Of course, it is healthy. Why do you say diet? Means it is healthy.
So, that is good," Supriya joked. Their playful back-and-forth added to the charm of the video.
Healthy eating is a family affair
Mira has often spoken about her interest in wellness and nutrition. A few days before sharing the video, she also posted a glimpse of the same pantry on social media. The shelves featured a variety of ingredients commonly associated with healthy eating, including seeds, nuts and superfoods. Along with the picture, Mira revealed that her children are also developing healthy food habits at a young age. She wrote, "The best part is that my kids are mixing spirulina & moringa in their nariyal pani because it's fun.
"For those unfamiliar with the family, Supriya Pathak is actor Shahid Kapoor's stepmother and Mira Rajput's mother-in-law.Coming to Shahid Kapoor's work front, his recent film 'Cocktail 2' received mixed reviews.
