New Delhi: Oppo has officially announced the upcoming global introduction of its most-awaited flagship, Oppo Find X9 Ultra. Recently, they have posted the launch date of Oppo Find X9 Ultra to launch on April 21.

Oppo Find X9s Pro could also launch along with the Ultra variant. Earlier, Oppo Chief Product Officer Pete Lau also confirmed that the upcoming flagship Oppo Find X9 Ultra will be boosted with a 50MP 10x optical telephoto camera sensor.

Oppo Find X9 Ultra has 10x optical zoom, especially designed to deliver image clarity comparable to that of Find X9 Pro, which achieves this with the external teleconverter.

Oppo Find X9 Ultra will use a 50MP sensor coupled with a native 10x optical zoom lens, which is significantly higher than the 4x to 5x optical zoom typically seen on the current flagship devices, where the higher zoom levels often rely on digital processing.

This move to a native 10x setup is focused on retaining more detail at longer distances, while the high-resolution sensor could further allow up to 20x shots with near optical quality via cropping. In real-world scenarios, this approach is expected to improve long-range photography, particularly in situations like concerts, events, or wildlife shooting, where maintaining clarity at higher levels of zoom is usually challenging.

Oppo Find X9 Ultra might feature a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.

It is also expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, coupled with up to 16GB RAM and 512 onboard storage, and houses a 7,050mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

This device is expected to come with a quad rear camera setup, which includes two 200MP camera sensors, one for main and the second for a periscope lens, along with a 50MP ultra-wide camera sensor and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 10x optical zoom.

On the front, it might feature a 50MP main camera sensor for selfies and video calling, with imaging capabilities developed in collaboration with Hasselblad.
