Opposition to delimitation bill is anti-national, says State BJP chief

State BJP president N. Ramchander Rao on Thursday strongly defended the Centre’s Delimitation-cum-Women’s Reservation Bill and described those opposing it, including the Congress party, as “anti-national”.

“The Congress and its leaders Rahul Gandhi and Revanth Reddy are raising absurd objections and creating a bogey of a north-south divide. Our party will not allow such a narrative and will fight this misinformation tooth and nail,” Mr. Rao said during an informal interaction with the media at the party’s State office.
