Over 89,500 candidates register for TGEAPCET phase one counselling so far

As part of the ongoing TGEAPCET first phase counselling process, 89,540 candidates paid the fee and booked a slot for admissions into various colleges as of Friday.

As per official information, over 65,800 candidates attended the certificate verification process which can be done till June 29. In total, candidates exercised about 11.16 lakh options so far, while the maximum number of options by a single candidate was 623.

For POLYCET 2026, officials said candidates can exercise options on June 27 and 28 (Saturday and Sunday). A centralised internal sliding process will allow students to change branches within the college. The provisional allotment of seats will be made on or before June 30 (Tuesday).
