Paisabazaar launches credit score awareness initiative with second edition of Credit Premier League

The incentives earned through the programme will be credited to users’ PB Wallet accounts.

Paisabazaar has rolled out the second edition of its Credit Premier League (CPL), a countrywide initiative aimed at enhancing awareness around credit scores. The programme is set to widen its footprint with more than 800 towns and cities targeted, which is an increase from the 710 locations it covered in its initial run.The campaign is designed to simplify access to credit score information for a broader set of users by using interactive features such as gamification, ranking systems and financial incentives. It is expected to attract participation from over 60 lakh individuals nationwide. Participants can join by checking their credit scores through the platform or its mobile app, where the campaign’s leaderboard and rankings will also be hosted.The first edition, held last year, saw participation from approximately 55 lakh users across 710 cities. Delhi recorded the highest average credit score at 746 among all cities. Other regions such as Pune, Kerala and Chandigarh also featured among areas with comparatively stronger credit profiles. The highest individual credit score reported during the campaign was 861.Commenting on the development, Santosh Agarwal, CEO, Paisabazaar, said: "Driving large-scale awareness and engagement around credit has been central to our journey.

Our focus remains on building a financially aware and credit-healthy Bharat—in line with our brand purpose ‘Har Sapna Hoga Sach’, enabling consumers to make informed financial decisions."The updated edition introduces a broader participation structure along with revised incentives. Individuals achieving the highest credit scores at the national level will be awarded ₹1 lakh, while top performers in each state will receive ₹10,000.

Participants from the state that records the highest average credit score will also qualify for rewards.The incentives earned through the programme will be credited to users’ PB Wallet accounts. These can be used for routine transactions on the platform, such as paying credit card bills, recharging mobile services and settling utility payments, making the rewards usable within regular financial activities.
