Actor Pankit Thakker has declared his departure from love, viewing romance as a distraction from ambition.
Actor Pankit Thakker, currently seen in the television show Saru, has taken an unconventional and rather stark stance on love—especially at a time when Valentine’s Day conversations usually revolve around romance. Asked about his Valentine’s Day plans, Pankit made his position clear. “I have looked into the eyes of the prettiest women and found nothing. I have officially checked out of love,” he says, adding that the idea of romance no longer holds relevance for him at this stage of life. The actor believes that emotional entanglements often distract people from their larger goals. “Love is a leash held by the mediocre. If your ambition can fit inside another person’s heart, you aren’t thinking big enough.
Every hour you spend crying over a breakup is an hour you steal from your future,” he says. For Pankit, priorities are clearly defined. “While others may be waiting for Valentine’s cards, my only focus right now is personal growth. I genuinely don’t have room in my schedule for texting back or dealing with relationship drama,” he says. He further reflects on how modern relationships often overshadow individual aspirations. “Many people waste their best years chasing a feeling they call love. In reality, it can become a psychological distraction that keeps you ordinary,” he shares.
