Budget Session Parliament 2026 Live: The Lok Sabha will take up the discussion on the Motion of Thanks to the President’s address on Monday, with Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal set to initiate the debate on behalf of the BJP. BJP MP Tejasvi Surya will second the motion. Parliament has earmarked 18 hours for the discussion, during which members from across parties are expected to participate.

According to the Congress, Rahul Gandhi is likely to speak today. The debate is scheduled to begin around 2 pm. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to respond to the discussion on February 4.
