Leaders of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) will hold a protest at 10:30 a.m. on Friday (August 8, 2025) in front of Makar Dwar inside the Parliament complex over the Bihar Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

Meanwhile, the Lok Sabha on Friday (August 8, 2025) is set to consider and pass the National Sports Governance Bill, 2025, with Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya moving the legislation. He is also scheduled to move amendments to the National Anti-Doping Act, 2022. Union Ports, Shipping, and Waterways Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will move the Indian Ports Bill, 2025, which aims to consolidate laws on ports, promote integrated development, improve ease of doing business, and make optimum use of India’s coastline. 

Congress leader and Member of Parliament, Hibi Eden, has given notice of an adjournment motion in the Lok Sabha on Friday (August 8, 2025) to discuss the recent alleged attack on two Catholic priests, a catechist, and two nuns by around 70 Bajrang Dal members in Jaleswar, Odisha.
