Patrick Mahomes might be able to return to the field at the start of the next season

A few weeks ago, as per ESPN, the Kansas City Chiefs’ head coach, Andy Reid, opened up about Patrick Mahomes’ recovery as he said, "He's around here all the time…He spends a ton of time here, seven hours a day. He's in there cranking away and making progress every day. It's great to see.”

Fortunately, the Kansas City Chiefs are likely to play the first match in the next season on Sunday of Week 1, which is potentially on 13th September.This should work out well with Patrick Mahomes’ recovery timeline since he might be able to start playing from the start of the next season.Back in January, the Kansas City Chiefs’ owner, Clark Hunt, also commented on how there is a high possibility of Patrick Mahomes returning to the field at the beginning of the season.

Clark Hunt opened up about Patrick Mahomes’ recovery as he said, "He certainly has a goal to be back for the beginning of the season…”He added, “I wouldn't put it past him. He's somebody in the past who has healed very quickly and, again, his work ethic, I think, gives him a huge advantage in getting back and being ready to play in 2026."
